Everything worked fine, until a couple of days ago (maybe after the Windows 10 creators update) launching the game from Steam doesn't work anymore. You can play together in 90% of the content, some story quest chains are solo instance.I bought The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) on Steam. Maximum damage produced by using persistent area damage skills and focused direct skills along with weapon activation in a repeating rotation (keep applying damage). Very solid storylines that are immersive and the game world is wide open sandbox with stunning graphics (using recommended hardware and internet).Ĭombat is fluid but still requires constant use of skills (button push) as well as movement (dodge/roll/block/kiting). More content purchase just gives more content zones with more of all that. Group Dungeons - Large, instanced dungeons designed for groupsĪchievements for everything - Earn Titles and Color Dyes and Mounts and Skins and Motifs and other goodiesĪll of that requires no further purchase. Public Dungeons - Large open-world dungeons designed for groups That item is 100's of hours including all this:.How does the combat in ESO compare to other RPGs? Also, how is the combat? I remember playing some long sessions of Diablo back in the day where combat boiled down to DPS numbers and using the same abilities over and over.

I find that ok for free games but we're paying up front for this one. How is the 'free' experience - as in, without buying in-game currency. Is the base game, the one on sale on steam right now ( ), a solid game experience? Is there a decent storyline and essentially story mode to play just with my nephew? Wondering if someone here can set me straight on this. I'm concerned that what we're getting for this price is some very limited base game that will demand microtransactions and DLC to be any good. I also only find recommendations that say "Wow guys, Elder Scrolls online with (insert expansion or dlc here) is so great".

However, I notice it has an expansion called Greymoor that costs 3x what ESO costs. Elder Scrolls Online is on sale for 50% off of steam right now and it looks pretty good. Hi everyone, looking for games with good co-op potential to play with my nephew over lockdown. Rule violators will be warned and/or subsequently removed at the discretion of the moderation team.
